2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)

My favorite film of all time. A piece of art that rewards patience and thoughtfulness in an obnoxious world. Every shot is a masterpiece that could be printed and hung in a museum. It’s incredibly prescient, full of existential ideas worth contemplating, and builds an appreciation for the craft of filmmaking.
